Geoff had the opportunity to participate in a Watergate Perspectives panel at the Campbell Law School Symposium in Raleigh, NC.
The event was titled “Echoes of Watergate: Emerging Issues in Government Communications” and took place on November 14, 2017.
The Symposium examined a wide range of issues, including: investigations that erode the zone of privacy, the President’s use of Twitter, the propriety of ex parte communications, and the balance between the First Amendment and perceptions of judicial bias.

The Symposium included four separate panels. Geoff’s panel discussed their role during the Watergate investigation and what lawyers, judges, and academics should understand about this controversial part of our nation’s history.
